The ver.1 artwork names four roots and gives each its own tile. Soy raíz, soy historia, soy sagrada and soy México sit in gold on blue talavera, violet diamonds, dark green medallions and olive stonework, under a plain dark leather top. Choose this one if you want the version that reads as four tiles set into a wall, cool blues and greens rather than warm colours.

Will a 13 inch laptop really fit?

Yes. The main compartment is built around a 13 inch laptop with room left for books and the rest of what you carry. The measurements are in the details table above.

Is it real leather? Will the print crack?

It is not animal hide and we will not pretend it is. It is a plant based coated fabric, lighter than leather and it does not crack in the sun. A new tote can smell of fresh ink for a few days while the print cures. Leave it open in a room with air and it goes away.

How long will my order take?

Your tote is made after you order. About 5 to 7 business days to print and sew, then 7 to 10 days to ship. Roughly 2 weeks in total, with tracking.

Are the straps strong enough for daily carry?

The straps are thick vegan leather, stitched for all day weight. This is the piece our customers use for work and travel rather than an evening bag.
