Penacho is the feathered headdress, and the artwork gives that shape to a peacock. One bird stands at the centre of deep green leather with its tail opened into a wide fan of copper feathers and eyes, scrollwork and two small fish closing the bottom, and no lettering anywhere on it. Choose this one if you want a single large motif on dark green, copper on forest rather than gold on black.

Is it real leather? Will the print crack?

It is not animal hide and we will not pretend it is. It is a plant based coated fabric, lighter than leather and it does not crack in the sun. A new tote can smell of fresh ink for a few days while the print cures. Leave it open in a room with air and it goes away.

How long will my order take?

Your tote is made after you order. About 5 to 7 business days to print and sew, then 7 to 10 days to ship. Roughly 2 weeks in total, with tracking.

Are the straps strong enough for daily carry?

The straps are thick vegan leather, stitched for all day weight. This is the piece our customers use for work and travel rather than an evening bag.
